A lawyer who loves to fish encounters an extraterrestrial being while fishing on a Northern Wisconsin lake for walleye.
The alien advises him that his fellow aliens have decided to destroy earth because it has created one too many irritants for the universe to take. The final straw was “that damn rap music” that has taken over.
The aliens have given the fisherman one last chance to save the planet. He must interview three people, alive or dead, then the aliens will vote, based on those interviews, on whether earth will be saved or destroyed.
The fisherman quickly chooses Henry David Thoreau, Ernest Hemingway “and my Uncle Bubba Russel from Monroe, Louisiana.” “Oh great!” responds the alien, “you just picked a hermit, a suicide and a hillbilly bass fisherman to save the world.”
Can the fisherman, Henry, Ernest and Uncle Bubba save the world? Can anyone shut down that damn rap music? These and many other questions will be answered in this humorous journey through time and space.
