Excerpt:
Rick closed the door after his friend, then just stood a minute. He heard a car engine start, listened as the sound faded, carrying Alex back home, then dragged himself over to the couch and dropped heavily onto it. Leaning back, he closed his eyes, thinking over what had just happened.

He didn't regret it, he knew that. But how did he feel about it? He wasn't sure. He knew that even just remembering the way Alex's mouth had felt on him was making him hard again, and he acknowledged he'd most likely have to jerk off before he could sleep. He thought about the way Alex had kissed him. He'd expected a man's kiss to be rough, but it hadn't been. Surprisingly, it had been very soft, but still strong at the same time. Rick found that it was that strength there that had made it so damn good. He compared kissing Alex to how it felt to kiss his wife, and even though he felt like a bastard for it, he had to admit to himself that he definitely preferred Alex's kiss. When he kissed Michelle, it always felt... hell it felt weak. It felt like he had to lead her, convince her. Like all it was him kissing her. With Alex... Alex had kissed him back. It felt like there were really two people involved in it, not just one kissing another.

As for what happened after... shit, Michelle had never ever made love to him like that! She was his wife, that's what it was supposed to be was making love, but again, it was always him doing all the work, she hardly ever reciprocated. The little she did was nothing like what he'd felt from Alex.

So how did he feel? He still had no damn clue. He was certain that he didn't want what had happened to be a onetime thing. He still wanted Alex, if possible even more now. And it seemed like it would be an amazing thing to be able to have that kind of sex with someone who was your best friend, not even counting gender.

Groaning softly, Rick stood and padded into the bathroom, seriously needing a different kind of relief. He stood in front of the toilet and tried to get his cock down enough to take a leak, idly wondering what Alex might be thinking about this whole thing. Was he having any regrets of his own...?

Alex wearily stepped out of the old fashioned freight elevator in his building, calling himself sixteen different kinds of asshole. What had he been thinking?! His best friend! Not only that, Rick had just barely been able to admit he might be bi, and Alex had told him that if he didn't say no, he was going to fuck him! Jesus!

He fished his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door to his loft, almost slamming it shut behind him in his frustration. He wondered if he should call him, apologize. He even took a half step toward the breakfast counter that separated the small kitchen area from the living room where the phone sat, then stopped himself. No, it was late. He was probably already asleep. Stretched out next to his wife... The thought made his jaw clench and he stalked over to the kitchen. He wanted a drink, but he'd already had four and any more than that and, drunk or not, he'd have a bitch of a hangover in the morning. So instead he grabbed a can of Dr. Pepper out of the fridge and cracked it open, downing half of it in one long gulp. Of course it didn't help, and he set the can down to stalk out into the living room again. He dropped down onto the low black leather sofa and idly looked around the room.

The building had been renovated, originally a warehouse for some big company, and when Alex had bought it, he'd taken it ‘as is', doing most of the work to it himself. He was proud of the space he'd created; it was home. Stylishly decorated, it was still obviously a man's apartment. The walls were paneled in lightly stained cedar, giving the area a hunting cabin feel, but that was where the ‘rustic' thing ended. Large black and white prints adorned the walls without overcrowding them, brought into relief by overhead track lighting
