Cinderella Not

She was such a happy baby and little girl, full of love and life. She had four brothers, no sisters, and was always striving to capture her mother’s unconditional love. This was somewhat difficult and she learned over time that Mommy was very partial to boys. Her childhood was a bit like Cinderella and the wicked step-mother except mother wasn’t step; she was maternal. You may wonder about this later in the story but it’s true. This Cinderella story doesn’t end with Prince Charming and it is much more psychologically challenging, for mother had two distinct personalities: one as charming as the sky is blue; the other as vindictive as the devil himself.
