CROSSING THE DOUBLE YELLOW

When incorrigible trucker, Jerod Jones, falls asleep and runs off the road, he discovers he’s hauling a nuclear bomb. As if his day couldn’t get any worse, in his frantic attempt to get help, he’s mistaken for a terrorist. Running for his life just gets him deeper into the mire, as the police and FBI pick-up the chase. While ruminating over his pitiful lack of options, he meets Petey Boy, a vagabond, whose sage advice helps him face his demons.

After an arranged meeting with the FBI is ambushed by the owners of the nuke, Jones is stuck with a wounded terrorist, and a bomb set to detonate. While attempting a getaway, they inadvertently acquire Sheryl, a hooker, whose history with Jones helps on their frantic journey. The terrorists kidnap Jones’s estranged family and propose a trade, but that goes awry when the police close in on Jones. Sheryl’s unique ability to call in favors allows them to elude temporary capture as they make their way cross-country to trade the bomb for Scott’s ex-wife and son. Then the military steps in…
