After saying goodbye to the only people Colleen Dalton has ever loved, she's forced into hiding; running for her own life. The detectives of Station 6 are assigned protective duty over Colleen as they attempt to close their case against Vega; a drug lord and the one man who wants more than anything to have Colleen all to himself or see her dead.

For Kyle Murray, an undercover officer, this protection assignment becomes more than a job as he realizes Colleen has stolen his heart. Kyle knows he shouldn't allow emotion to rule his decisions, and when he makes this mistake, anything can and does happen.

The team will do all they can to help protect Colleen, and keep Kyle's actions in check so they can successfully complete their assignment; which has become increasingly difficult as they discover Vega has a 'mole' inside their department. When evidence disappears and Vega is released from prison, the race is on. They struggle to build and maintain a strong case against Vega and keep Colleen safe. As emotions run high, and tension deep, mistakes are made.
