Affirmation

Affirmation is a coming-of-age story about the author as a young girl who learns the true meaning of speaking a day into existence from the teasing and hardships she faced during her childhood from the jealousy and envy of other girls she knew as an adolescent. Through this book of colorful illustrations and inspirational bible verses, the main character overcomes her battles through discovering that she had to rely on her mom’s teachings of putting God first and not leaning unto her own understanding. Transforming allowed her to build the confidence of speaking a day into existence and living out what she spoke. Did she truly speak change for the better into existence or did time play a part in her life that worked to her advantage in overcoming her trials?
