The Crusade of Stone and Stars

Hadar never had any aspirations to be king, being the second-born prince. He had always been timid, shy, unsure of himself. So when his brother is killed by assassins from the nearby kingdom of Nihilus and Hadar must assume the throne of Arx, he is torn and terrified by all that this means. His hand is forced, and he breaks the hearts of his two closest friends, but he is determined that they must stay together, that only with their help can he face the forces that threaten to bring down his family's dynasty and crush his people.

Therion was the seventh-born prince of Nihilus. When his six older brothers mysteriously died Therion took the crown. With an entire kingdom more than a little skeptical as to the nature of his brother's deaths, Therion must make himself a hero to the people, and the only way he knows how to do this is by defeating Nihilus' long-standing enemy, the kingdom of Arx.

Holy war is brewing between the kingdoms of Arx and Nihilus. This war shall be fought not just between mortals, but between angels and daemons, between the living and the dead, between spies and inquisitors, lords and assassins, kings and commoners, prophets and saviors, and all the world shall watch as the worshipers of Stone and the devoted of the Void will take up arms against one another.
