The Deacons of Deadwood Motorcycle Club

This is the story of the Deacons of Deadwood Motorcycle Club as told by its founder. Unlike media portrayals, most motorcycle clubs are not outlaws, and the Deacons are as about as far from being outlaws as is possible. It started as a group of nine businessmen who wanted to ride motorcycles together and raise money for charities benefiting children. Over a decade later, the Deacons have over 100 members and have donated nearly $2,000,000 to charity. But the course from their starting point to being one of the premier MCs in Houston was not placid. There were run-ins with 1%er clubs, revolts against the founders, members who split off to form a new club and members who had to be booted out. But there also has been a lot of riding, a lot of booze, a lot of tits and ass and a lot of generosity that helped children who needed it. This is the story of a great MC that will be fun for anyone who wants to know how a non-outlaw MC works.
