From Fury to Freedom

Raul Ries … to those who knew him in the ‘60’s and early ‘70’s, his name stood for fear … for fighting … for fury. To his high school friends he was a violent, dangerous combatant. To his family he was a time-bomb, ready to explode at any moment, and to those who battled beside him, in Vietnam, he was an angry, bitter killer.
One Sunday evening, Raul’s life was transformed, taking him from a life filled with fury, to a life of hope and peace, leading him to freedom from the hate and anger. Is it possible for someone to be changed from darkness to light over night?
