Yssela is 15 years old, the daughter of an Innkeeper and a race of Innkeepers in the Island Continent/City of Eternal Zymmerys, the oldest, largest, and most dangerous city that has ever been, or ever will be. The Messavi maiden will find herself standing alone against the might of the Empire of Zymmerys, the most powerful empire that ever has or ever will exist to defend her home and its honor. If she survives, she will run for her life from a cutthroat gang of murderous mercenaries armed with sorcery and steel to save the life of a woman and her young child. And if she survives that test, she will at last face a foe she cannot see or defeat, who has sworn to take her life. The question that Yssela will answer is whether One Good and Brave Heart can stand against overwhelming power, and if she does, will she remain the same Good and True Heart she once was.
