My Heart Came Home

Lt. Mitchell Markum was home! After five years in hell he was home. Not totally in one piece, but close. He is hesitant to look up his wife. He is betting she has moved on. Buried him long ago. He has an old friend he can look up so he has a place to go.
His world turns upside down when he is informed the reason he held onto living is not only still married to him, but has not yet declared him dead! She had been still hoping he would come home. He doesn't plan to disappoint her. He gets there fast as possible!
He is alive! Alexi is beyond shocked. She didn't intentionally wait, she just could not declare him dead when every day her heart begged for him, or a piece of him to come home. Any way that she did not have to make the horrible decision to let him go.
Now they will have the second chance they both have prayed and begged for. Unfortunately someone is watching. Someone has laid claim to Alexi, thinking her unmarried. Will they make it thru together? Or will all they have waited for be taken away from them?
