Aunt Ruth's Ring

Wakefield, California is a small town just outside the Oregon border. It is gorgeous there. A rural area where wheat farms adorn either side of the highway leading into town. Highway 202, a rock and dirt ladened stretch of road, has seen it's share of interesting events through the years. Jonatha will be traveling that road this month to visit her Aunt Ruth at Iris Blossom Cottage, a quaint, two acre wonderland, her Aunt created just outside of town. Jonatha worries about her Aunt. Ruth lives alone. She sometimes seems sullen and sad about something. Jonatha feels as if her Aunt will wither away at Iris Blossom Cottage, an old spinster, who has never had a life, who has never known love, and who would be forgotten if she didn't visit her monthly.This month Aunt Ruth will share something with Jonatha, that will make Jonatha see Wakefield, it's people and Ruth in an entirely new way.
