Roger and Ann Jacobson lived a very peaceful life. He was running a successful accounting firm, which he recently took over after his parents’ passing, and she was a columnist in their local paper. Ann was fond of Puff, their cat. And Roger brought a new member to their family—a dog. Everything seemed so perfect until unlikely incidents started to happen: Puff died. Soon their dog followed. Ann’s speculated that their pets may have been killed.
