Symbolic Colours

A rare French treatise about an ancient esoteric understanding of colour. Written in the early 19th century, the author gathered together many historical references concerning such symbolism and in doing so has preserved a unique insight and understanding of another time, a time more concerned with spiritual verities than with the rewards of a life dedicated to materialism. It was translated into English in 1845 and released as a private limited edition of one hundred copies, There has been no English edition published since.
