Blushing Bride

An important business meeting the following morning had me awake and in the hotel bar after midnight, nursing a beer and trying to calm my nerves. That's how I met Jane, a reluctant bride-to-be whose family had hijacked her wedding and ignored her wishes for a small, private gathering.

We started talking and hit it off, and it turned out that Jane had been keeping a secret from her fiance. It was that secret that had her drinking alone, the night before her big day.
