The Bohemians: Book IV - Inside Passage

Marion and the Bohemians set out with the opal on a dangerous trek through the Inside Passage to find Ragsdale, an enigmatic village boy who entreats her. Marion grows in confidence and capability as she is pursued through the Inside Passage, where each conquest reveals a celestial glimpse of Ragsdale’s home, the Divinity Tree. Her departure beckons Arkwell the Magician, who advises that she must only trust her cloth, and it will become a ribbon that transforms into the manifestation of her need. Facing unceasing trials, Marion is led away from the Inside Passage when Gankyil tricks her into believing he is Ragsdale. During an uncontrollable convulsive seizure, she frantically clutches the opal and its heat burns to a metallic silver liquid that turns Marion into Gankyil for a paralyzing millisecond. Revolted, Gankyil, races to Ellingwood to incite a brigade of fighters intent on returning Marion to the Loving Tree, while he secretly plots to steal the opal.
