Five New Chekhov Plays

Five new plays adapted from short stories of Anton Chekhov. Anton Chekhov, (1860 – 1904) was one of the greatest short story writers in history. He is even more famous for his career as a dramatist, with such classics as The Seagull, Uncle Vanya, Three Sisters, and The Cherry Orchard. The four short plays published here are all recent adaptation of the following short stories by Chekhov: “Difficult People,” “Joy,” “A Lottery Ticket,” “I’m Famous,” and “An Enigmatic Nature.”
