Strong Willed

The heroine is Magy who is an independent middle aged woman who has been a widow for 10 years. She has raised four children to adulthood. Magy has been quite content with her life. She was certainly not looking for any changes. When one day Magy is called to aid in a difficult birth for another clan. Little does she know her life will not ever be the same from this day forward.
Edwarde is the chieftain of the neighboring clan. He is a well respected warrior who has led many battles to save the land of his clan. He is a widower himself who viewed marriage as a necessity for men only to produce heirs. He can feel himself drawn to her with a feeling he thought long dead.
Edwarde becomes very intrigued with Magy but he tries to keep a distance for he knows his future. He has given a pledge to marry the daughter of the border clan for the peace of his clan. But he finds himself feeling something for this strong willed woman he has not ever felt in his life. His plan is to distance himself from her quickly.
Neither planned what was to happen next but they will journey through a time together testing their love. Both will begin to understand it is never too late for anyone to feel again. No matter what happens they cannot ever go back to the lives they had before.
