Jolted:A Short Fiction

Detective Hank Larson a veteran of the James Creek Police Department is stuck on the late shift trying to finalize his workload of cold case files before the year ends. While going through his files, he receives a mysterious phone call from a woman claiming to be in danger. Larson ultimately discovers that the Woman on the other line is a reported missing Person from one of his files. After she tells him her story, he embarks on a solo mission to find her in the dead cold.
