The Past Often Speaks in Cipher

Laura Spencer decides to move into her now empty childhood home, when she gets a new job in her hometown. Her brother, Alan, and his family come to spend a few days with her till she settles in. Old memories are revived when they meet their old neighbors, the Reynolds family. The Reynolds' daughter, Julie, an old friend of Laura and Alan, is long dead but her daughter, Valerie, who lives there now, is a constant reminder of her. A seemingly innocuous family holiday turns scary when inexplicable events begin to happen in the Spencer home. Papers scattered across rooms, music boxes playing in the night, nights are not what they used to be. Is some secret trying to raise its head?
