The Wild, Wild West

What if you found a book that would let you travel through time, but you had to apprentice yourself to the school's librarian and meanest teacher to do so? That's the challenge faced by ordinary sixth-grader J.T. Middleton. A week of undeserved after-school detentions lead to his accidental discovery of the secret identities of his school's librarian and her sister. His new job? To be their apprentice and stop the evil Changer from damaging history and the future. To do his job, J.T. must deal with bullies, outlaws, and his math homework while hiding his new identity from his friends and family.
