The Door to Recovery

There is a civil, yet uncivil, war going on; a spiritual conflict for the heart waged through the mind with manifestations in the natural world. Unresolved, it will keep you from fulfilling your plan and purpose, and from reaching that place where you can be all that God called you to be, and having all that God wants you to have.

Physical and psychological dependencies are oppressive embattlements fortified by long indulgence, and by the captive hold they have on the soul. They have seized on strong human passions, with one position strengthening another until great numbers are united. They repel abstention through subtle, and not so subtle, argumentation, reasoning, temptation, maladies, triggers, and ramparts of traitorous external provision of readily available stocks of war matériel (destructive addictive substances).

The Door to Recovery, and its progressive Twelve Steps, will “revelationize” the way you go about restoration, and the way you see yourself. It applies the powerful premise of God’s veracity to overcoming the pervasive and devastating stronghold of addiction. Lasting freedom from bondage is not just about lockdown, detox, rehab, number of meetings attended, sponsors, keeping rules and avoiding pitfalls. It’s not about deeds that we do; it’s about Whom we know, and what we believe and speak.

We cannot allow what we’ve been through to continue to define us, or retain the mentality that we somehow are disqualified from having a victorious life. Following The Door’s Steps, strongholds are broken and have no more dominion over us, for we are no longer under the Law of Works and condemnation, but under grace and the Law of Faith. Faith that overcomes is based on our relationship, not our performance.
