This was a gripping tale of a woman descending into madness. At first, I believed her madness was a result of her husband's controlling nature, but it soon became apparent she was a victim of postpartum depression. Her "journal" entries paint a picture of a woman on the edge who slowly becomes more and more separated from reality. This is a quick read I highly recommend.
