The book starts with a comic legal story, and then stirs in short stories of various different kinds, including some comic, some satiric, some serious and a few that border on science fiction, but have humour and social satire as their main object. The book should appeal to those with imagination and a sense of humour, particularly if they have some interest in the (English) law.
