The Desktop Wormhole

Catherine can't believe her luck. She came into the store just desperate for a gift. It was Anthony's birthday and she needed SOMETHING. Something simple. Something fun. Something very Anthony-y. Maybe the man-eating plant. Maybe the four-headed dog. She never expected to buy a wormhole, much less two. But it was too good of a deal to pass up.

She especially never expected that one of those wormholes would then lead to a Galactic Empire, one of the most desirable collectibles in the world. What cost less than a month's worth of coffees is suddenly worth as much as some people's houses. She can't WAIT to see Anthony's face.

Too bad that the second wormhole is a dud...
