"Robbins, a private detective, has lived his life out of the wind. He has always sought and taken the easy road in his life and career. He is a lazy man in both. He becomes, improbably, entangled with a younger, quite beautiful woman who has set him, reluctantly, on a path of higher aspirations. When asked for help in finding a missing daughter who has disappeared in Mexico, he is left with no other out, than to take the case. Totally out of his depth, he takes the job, and finds himself, and is irretrievably lost in doing so."
