In this book a young child named Georgette, but nicknamed Georgie because she is somewhat of a tom boy, imagines what it would be like if she were an animal. Sometimes she imagines what she could do for or with her mommy if she were a specific animal. But since she is just a child and NOT an animal she tries to imagine what she can do instead.
