THE INTERPRETER

The newly elected Chinese president is making a major address from the White House. The invitation is a political gesture by the administration to mend strained relations. This attempt fails miserably, however, as two pistol shots ring out during the presentation. The first kills the celebrated guest; the second sears the brain of the student interpreter. The FBI chief immediately labels the comatose interpreter a suicidal terrorist and proclaims the case solved.
There is a detective, however who is not so sure.
