The Anatomy of a Grant

“The Anatomy of a Grant,” theory-workbook combines theory on grant writing and activity to engage readers in the practice of writing a grant proposal. This course study focuses on presenting a comprehensive view on how to write a complete and concise grant proposal.

AMB Training Core looks to assist grass roots organizations, individual, and partnering agencies allocate funding for projects and programs for today’s growing community.

AMB, theorizes that agencies big and small; whether offering a product of service or product for sale, should know the basics of resource funding. This craft will assist in aiding businesses to produce marketable and sustainable products and/or services.

The first of the Grant Writing Workbook course is “The Anatomy of a Grant.” This workbook outlines the components of a grant proposal. Each section is broken down, discussed, and is followed by a quiz and note section. These workbooks encourage note taking and practice exercises with the sections of the Theory-Workbook.

Project Section includes samples of successful proposals and encourages theory to practice, by engaging the students to apply knowledge by putting together a sample proposal.

Theory-Workbook also includes a glossary of terms that Grant Seekers should know about the grant writing process, and to whom grant makers fund.
