All too often missionaries go to foreign lands to teach the “heathen”, with never a thought of learning something from or even about them. “My first mission trip taught me to begin to see things with different eyes. I realized the way I viewed the world was not necessarily the only way to look at things. My experiences enlarged my vision and showed me how much my eyesight was defined by my own culture.”
