Sara Underwood is a child of divorce. She is the daughter of her beautiful mother’s first marriage and has suffered through the second and third marriages, which also broke up. She longs for the long-term stability of marriage with a man whom she loves and who loves her back. She goes to spend some time with her grandfather, who owns a racing stable in Kentucky and there she meets Daniel Riordan, an Irishman who helps to train her grandfather’s horses. He’s unlike any the society men she’s known and she falls in love. But there is a chasm of class and money between them – will Daniel be able to make the leap?
