Winter Love

When two strangers, Tom Flannery and Isabella Conti, briefly smile at each other in a crowded ski lodge at Vail, Colorado, they don’t yet know that, two hours later, an avalanche will change their lives forever.
Tom, a pilot who flies all over the world, has come to Vail for a week of skiing, hoping that the clear mountain air and the spectacular Rocky Mountains will help him heal from the sudden and painful break-up of his marriage. The last thing he wants is to meet anyone or to get involved with anyone, although this smile from a pretty woman makes his resolve wobble just a little.
Isabella, in Vail with her husband and her sister, had not expected the handsome stranger’s smile. For just an instant, it rekindles dreams of love and passion that she has long buried. Her marriage of twenty years is not unlike the dearth of the Sahara desert, but as the years went by, she’s gradually convinced herself that her prospects of a forever with someone who truly loves her and her passionate nature are zero to none.
Sometimes, however, fate has other plans.
