Successful Nature Photographs and How To Create Them: Volume 1

Successful Nature Photographs shows you how to become a better nature photographer. Using the camera equipment you already have, the book shows you how to capture more interesting images of flora, landscapes, and animals. The 26 chapters are divided by subject, such as flowers, butterflies, waterfalls, bird flight, animal portraits, etc. For each of the 250 different images in the book, as relevant, the text describes what is successful about the image, what aspects need to be improved, how the image was captured, and what post-processing was applied to create the final image. For many images, variations on the composition are presented. The vast majority of images were taken at local zoos, aquariums, parks, gardens, and my backyard. A few were taken at American national parks. The book shows you how to take advantage of the nature photography opportunities in your neighborhood.
