This Side of Paradise, F. Scott Fitzgerald's definitive novel of the "Lost Generation of the 1920's focuses on the coming of age of one Amory Blaine, a young, handsome, wealthy Princeton student who exemplifies all of the young men and women of the "Jazz Age" who grew up to find "all Gods dead, all wars fought, all faiths in man irrevocably shaken." It was Fitzgerald's debut novel and an immediate, spectacular literary and commercial success.


F. SCOTT FITZGERALD (1896 –1940) is widely regarded as one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century. This Side of Paradise, The Beautiful and Damned, The Great Gatsby and Tender Is the Night are considered his masterworks.
