TRIRIGA Reservation Management: Achieving Business Value in 30 Days

The main purpose of this book is to provide a guided tour of a Reservation Management implementation for approximately 36 rooms and a small number of assets. This process starts after the operating system is installed and will describe all the steps needed to get Reservation Manager installed as well as its prerequisites. All software required for this guide may be freely downloaded from the internet, except for the TRIRIGA software which must be purchased. Every project big or small benefits from a detailed project plan. Therefore, one is provided as well as the requirements needed to complete each phase of the process. The guide not only describes the steps needed but also provides some helpful artifacts to carry out the steps. These artifacts include data integrator files which are used as templates for loading data and workflows. Each of which will be described in more detail later in this book. The authors’ intent for you is to run through the entire process once without changing any of the sample data provided. This will familiarize you with the steps and the process. Once this is complete the system should be reset and TRIRIGA will then be customized using customer specific data. The entire process described below will take approximately 30 days to complete.
