Morning Call Part 5

During Mardi Gras in New Orleans everyone wears a mask. But Adele Charbonnet puts on a mask every day. She smiles as she juggles a photography business along with an active social calendar while underneath her cheerful façade she seethes with anger and resentment.
From the outside, Adele and her husband Jackson look like they have the perfect life. But after ten years of marriage, his late nights out with friends have spiraled into drunken all-nighters—and morning after fights.
When Adele finds Jackson's hidden photographs, she realizes that everything she thought she knew about Jackson, their marriage, and even herself, is wrong. As the repercussions ripple through New Orleans' high society, Adele must begin a new life.
While Adele struggles with all of the decisions she must make, she think about the mask of Janus and its two faces. The sad mask is the past. However, unlike Janus, when she turns towards the future, she doesn’t see a happy mask.
But if Adele can live life without pretense, deception, and lies, she may find out she doesn’t need a mask at all.
