Donald Carpenter has come a long way from the day he got accepted into the Florida Bar. Starting out as a prosecutor, his idealism and soft-hearted nature soon gets him eaten alive in the rat race that is the legal community, which seems to spare no mercy for a rookie like him. Although Don’s diligence and natural charm has him move up the professional ladder in no time, little does he suspect that his chosen career is going to take him for one hell of a life-changing ride.

Set in the fast-paced, articulate world of the legal practice, Why Is She Blindfolded tells the story of Donald Carpenter, a well-meaning, kindhearted attorney who ends up having to face the harsh realities in a career where money is king and connections is power.
