The Gargoyle's Girl

It takes but one night and one unthinkable act of violence to change someone forever. At least that's how Alex became the being she is now. Answering only to the Archangel Michael, her life is not about vengeance and rage. Of course in dealing with angels one never knows what twist might get thrown your way. It's been far too long since Alex has found anything to fight for other than the past, and softening her heart might come at a price she is unwilling to pay.

Ash and Tarken have stood sentry over the city since the last block was placed in the cathedral. From their high perch, the pair of Gargoyles have kept watch for the demons who stalk mankind. Yet now the rules have changed and no longer are they able to identify the good from the evil.

With the rules changed, the gargoyles find themselves working alongside a creature whose heart may actually be harder than their own. A creature that makes them think their lives might be a little more fulfilling with her lying between them.

It's a world where everything is not always as it seems and good and evil walk right alongside mankind. One where love might be the only thing strong enough to save us all from having hearts of stone.
