Soloman's Reech

Newly-commissioned SPA Ensign Adam Sarian chose Solomon's Reech as his first posting right out of the SPA Academy. Now that he has arrived on the Reech, however, he's not so sure it was a good decision. He immediately finds himself the object of attempted manipulation by both the SPA and the Janist, the Church security force. Add to that the sudden startling appearance of an unprecedented number of legendary Kel-B'nai warriors and a power-play between the Church and the Kel-B'nai for possession of the newly-arrived, much-anticipated, long-prophesized Child of Promise, and Adam's prospects for survival are dwindling rapidly. Only a discredited frontier runner and a cyborg with a sour disposition can help him find and secure the Child of Promise and keep everyone alive in the meantime. And with war threatening to break out on the frontier at any minute, that's a very tall order for a brand-new SPA officer.
