Dick, along with the majority of his prisoner of war peers, suffered the remainder of their lives with this disorder. This diagnosis did answer many questions for us as a family. Dick remained in the service, retiring from the Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 in 1969. He had a second tour to Korea with KMAG (Korean Military Advisory Group) in 1967-1968.
