A Brooklyn Love Story

After a heated basketball game full of pushing, hard fouls, cursing and near fights, Devon Jr. walked away from the court with thirty points and pulling his little brother by the collar. "Fuck you, fucking pussies," little Jaeden yelled out at the people standing on the court. Instead of pulling out their guns, they eyed the little kid then nodded their heads to Devon he had their respect. "Come on," Devon said, still pulling him, "Let's go." Going away to college was going to be great for him, he would be the first in their family, but leaving was going to be hard on his little brother Jaeden. With their father gone, he needed to find the right time to tell him. While walking on the old Long Island Rail Road tracks that ran across Brooklyn, Devon Jr. decided to tell his brother. As he was about to speak Jaeden ran over to the bushes, when he came out his face was white as the dead man lying in the bushes with a hole in his cheek. The boys stumbled across a mafia hit that would turn their lives around and bring their family closer than ever if they all lived.
