PILOT EPISODE IN 2 PARTS: In 1886, a steamship is mysteriously stranded without fuel in the dense fog of the Mediterranean Sea. There is a private detective aboard called to investigate, but unless he shakes off his cynical skepticism and starts fighting fire with fire, he won't save anyone from the inevitable. (PG-13)
