Stickeen

John Muir (1838 – 1914) was a Scottish-American naturalist, author, environmental philosopher and early advocate of preservation of wilderness in the United States. His letters, essays, and books telling of his adventures in nature are read by millions even nowadays.
"Stickeen" is a story written by the famous explorer John Muir about his journey with a mysterious little black dog named Stickeen on thrilling adventure through the treacherous mountains and glaciers of southeastern Alaska during a fierce snowstorm in the summer of 1880.
