The Wedding Dress Disaster

Melody's hopes of living life as a food writer and cookbook author is starting to set up like the perfect chocolate ganache. The cherry on top is the biggest news of Melody's year: she is chosen to present her cookbook and cooking show idea at a Pitch It session for the Create Conference coming up less than a month.

Before Melody can enjoy the sweet taste of a dream realized, life starts to fall apart faster than a soppy soufflé. First, Kristi's dream wedding dress is swiped- at the hip skin care start up she works at! Melody's new relationships with Brandon, the good looking, a-tad-too-blunt marketing consultant, takes a nose dive and re-introduces her to the man she thought she was rid of forever.

Once things start to roll, life doesn't stop unraveling. Kristi panics over her wedding day disaster and threatens to stop her own wedding. Jillian is called away to Florida to help a cousin whose having her own wedding crisis.

That leaves Savannah, Melody's spunky, outgoing fellow cooking club member to be the voice of enthusiastic reason as Melody throws herself into solving Kristi's wedding dress theft, her job crisis and her love life disaster.

Melody determines nothing is going to get in the way of her and her friends dreams. They've spent a lot of time working to get what they want despite the chaos thrown at them. With a group of friends, some creative persistence and a good dessert, life is almost unbeatable. Will the lessons she's learned help her solve the current crisis?
