The Frugal Woman

Tibetian fairy-tales reflected thew wisdom of the Tibetian people and belongs to the heritage of one of the oldest cultures. Many of these tales have a sacred core as they tell us of the creation of the world, the origin of various natural forces, of the afterlife as Tibetians see it according to their Buddhist-driven beliefs.
The Tibetian folk tale named "The Frugal Woman" relates about a wisdom of one female living a village somewhere in the mountains of Tibet. It was destined for her to marry a rich prince, it was a son of village head-man that had no wife. The marrige succeeded but before departure with her new husband she was told a very wise advice to remember, so everyone later worshiped her and always went to her in time of trouble.
