Twenty-eight year old Janelle Watkins is a smart and sexy dance instructor with a terrible secret, that has led her on a path of destruction from childhood. Nineteen years after her rape and the kidnapping of her baby, Janelle embarks on many affairs with men and is incapable of feeling real love. She struggles with her alcohol and drug addiction to ease her pain, but is determined to turn her life around. She begins to feel that her life is getting back on track until more traumatic events threaten to destroy her newfound happiness.
