ABOUT ..... QUITTING SMOKING ..... TO GET YOU STARTED

In his writing on quitting smoking, Ken sets out the (at that time) totally innocent aspects of his starting to smoke, his bouts with cigars and various types of pipes, which led to the extreme pleasure (then) of inhaling when he took up cigarette smoking (at the then maximum cost of twenty cents a pack). He then details the negatives of smoking as he experienced them, his successful efforts to quit and concludes by setting out suggestions, based on experience, for quitting, aimed at persons who smoke but who wish to quit.
