Lainie Sam dreams of becoming a brilliant doctor. Focused and driven, she cannot allow anything to distract her from her studies, until her part-time catering job puts her in the path of two powerful men: Hal Barmak, the handsome state governor, and Mason, a lecherous man who plans to bring Hal down.
