All Adrift; Or, The Goldwing Club

William Taylor Adams (1822 – 1897), pseudonym Oliver Optic, was a famous academic, author, and a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Adams in whole wrote over 100 books and most of them for a boy audience.
«All Adrift» is the first book in the collection serios to be known as «The Boat-Builder Series. The story itself narrates of adventures of young smart boy who is making best efforts to support his family but who finds himself all adrift in the world. His mind has a wild features but he proves that he is honest and kind and willing to work for a living. All the scenes of the story are on the water and its idle will force every child to read it till the end.
