Dawn

Eleanor Emily Hodgman Porter (December 19, 1868 – May 21, 1920) is an American children's writer and novelist. She was born in Littleton, New Hampshire, studied singing, but then began to write books. Initially, she wrote a books for children. From under her arm came many wonderful works. At the peak of her career, she has achieved great success and took the eighth place among the best novelists of America. The best known of her books have become "Pollyanna" (1913), on which later made a beautiful film.
"Dawn" is a great novel by Eleanor Emily Hodgman Porter. The action revolves around the story of a young man named Keith Burton. In consequence of a confluence of certain circumstances he becomes blind. It began a very difficult period in the life of a young man and his family. The entire book is devoted to the heavy tests, which fell to a share of the protagonist. This is one of the best creations of the author, and so it might be interesting to all readers.
